A cafe like one must have never seen before!
A place full of dreams and stories where one can express in myriad ways. This is " Bombay to Barcelona Library Cafe" in Mumbai. Though a small cafe in size, quality, ambience and customer friendly staff is what inspires, motivates most of the visitors.
A cafe run by family of underprivileged children. Nevertheless it brought them under a single roof, where every co-worker is treated equal. This despite no managerial supervision and no stewarding.
Mr. Amin Sheikh, the founder of the Cafe initially faced odds by selling his books by the roadside and worked day-and-night for six years, is a testimony to his perseverance and believing in himself. ‘Bombay to Barcelona Library Cafe’ now proudly shows the world its face of philanthropy, where all the profit is being donated or given to the underprivileged to let them grow and get the same opportuines like any other kid in this country.
The Cafe is proud to have a fashion designer, whose designed clothes are not only being showcased here and also can be bought.
I bet, the cafe is the only place where the positive vibes & aura is found.
Now coming to the food, the unique home style preparation of each dish has a Spanish edge.
In this cafe along with their amazing food, inlcuding the butter chicken, the super delicious pickled mushrooms. chocolaty chocolate milkshake and last but not the least their signature cafe bourbon.
The butter chicken?? just amazing, its not like the regular restaurant type flavours, one gets homemade flavour in the first bite. The aroma & spiciness is just amazing.
For vegetarian lovers? one should definitely try the 'Pickled Mushrooms'.
Being a non veg lover, I was just impressed by the flavour, the texture, the creaminess and everything was just perfect.
As the COVID-19 unlocking began, and restaurants opening up, it’s time for Spanish food-savvy lovers to visit this cafe.
